What is yoga? How should we practice yoga asanas (postures) in a safe and beneficial way for our body? Why do we focus so much on breathing? What are the techniques to breathe efficiently? How should we coordinate breath and movement? How does yoga affect the mind? What is the relevance of this ancient practice in today's modern world?

This workshop welcomes everyone who wants to start practicing yoga or is simply curious to know more about yoga, as well as those who have been practicing for a while without having had the chance to understand some fundamental concepts, or indeed the more advanced who strive to continuously cultivate the freshness and attention of a beginner's mind.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a notebook and pen if you are interested in taking notes. It is preferable not to eat a for at least two hours before the class. Please inform the teacher before class if you are suffering from chronic pain or any medical problems.
